Athletic Trainer-Van Buren School District

  • Recognize, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate participating athletes who have suffered a sports injury or illness

  • Attend athletic team events and additional special events as directed (in district and out of district)

  • Attend daily team practices and be available by phone when not on campus

  • Maintain documentation and records of student athlete injuries and treatment plans

  • Ensure school insurance claim forms are completed and distributed

  • Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with all coaches, students, parents, healthcare providers and community

  • Work with athletic trainer and coaches to design and implement Emergency Action Plans

  • Make return to play decisions as appropriate

  • Assist with the purchase and inventory of supplies/equipment

  • Provide first aid and basic life support as needed

  • Conduct training for coaches and athletes on athletic injury prevention and youth sports safety

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer and/or Athletic Director

Head Athletic Trainer-Lake Hamilton School District

LHSD is seeking a Head Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation for athletic injuries. LHSD is seeking an instructor to fill a role that is a combination of daily classroom instruction responsibilities and athletic trainer responsibilities for designated sports. Sports Medicine Coordinator

Nashville High School is seeking a Sports Medicine Coordinator for grades 10-12. The Coordinator will teach the Career and Technical Education courses. This position requires a 625- Sports Medicine technical permit. This person would be the lead athletic trainer for Nashville High School.  Other responsibilities include teaching multiple classes on the CTE Sports Medicine Pathway and scheduling and organizing the athletic trainer interns.
