The Athletic Trainer facilitates the management and provision of care of injuries to a physically active person as defined in the state practice act with the direction of a licensed physician. The term includes the rendering of emergency care, development of injury prevention programs, and providing appropriate preventative devices for the physically active person. The term also includes the assessment, management, treatment, and referral of the physically active person whose conditions are within the professional preparation and education of a certified athletic trainer. The term also includes the use of modalities such as mechanical stimulation, heat, cold, light, air, water, electricity, sound, massage and the use of therapeutic exercises, reconditioning exercises, and fitness programs. Head Athletic Trainer - National Park College
National Park College is seeking a Head Athletic Trainer. This position is responsible for preventing, recognizing, managing, and rehabilitating injuries in student-athletes across all intercollegiate sports. The trainer will work closely with coaches, and athletic department staff to ensure the safety, well-being, and optimal performance of student-athletes. This position involves hands-on care, administrative duties, and education regarding injury prevention and recovery.
Sports Medicine Coordinator
Nashville High School is seeking a Sports Medicine Coordinator for grades 10-12. The Coordinator will teach the Career and Technical Education courses. This position requires a 625- Sports Medicine technical permit. This person would be the lead athletic trainer for Nashville High School. Other responsibilities include teaching multiple classes on the CTE Sports Medicine Pathway and scheduling and organizing the athletic trainer interns.
Athletic Trainer-Arkansas Children’s/Hall High School
Responsible to recognize, evaluate, treat and rehabilitate participating athletes who have suffered a sports injury or illness as well as provide injury prevention education to those athletes. Responsibilities include coverage of athletic team events and additional special events as assigned. Serves as the primary liaison between the assigned school, the parent/athlete, and appropriate healthcare providers. Responsible for other duties at ACH as assigned.
