Grievance Policy

Ancil Lea
  • Any grievance with the AATA Meeting must be submitted to the current AATA President in writing.
  • Once submitted, the EB will review the grievance which will be kept confidential.
  • The formal grievance process may be activated after an effort has been made to resolve an issue through an informal process whereby discussions between the parties of the disagreement have been exhausted and left unresolved.
  • An exception to this is a grievance related to an alleged violation of an individual’s civil rights. The desire to prevent, anticipate, or register mere unhappiness over a particular decision or action does not, alone, justify a grievance.
  • Grievance policy will be located on the AATA website.
